Welcome to the web site for the Friends of the Rancho Mirage Public Library, an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide community support for the programs of the Rancho Mirage Public Library. Visit the Library’s web site for location, hours of operation and other information about the facility.
The site is designed to offer in a few pages an overview of the activities of the Friends organization. The main areas of the site are:
Organization - Provides a short history of the organization, the legal documents, and the board membership
Participation - Lists ways in which you may support and participate in the Friends activities
Events - Highlights upcoming events at the Library and other activities sponsored by the Friends
Publications - Provides links to recent newsletters and other documents produced by the organization
Photos - Includes photo albums containing pictures taken during Friends events
Store - Provides for on-line membership purchases, donations to the Friends, and purchases of paid event reservations.

Friends Board Meetings
Board meetings are usually held at 9 AM on the fourth Monday of the month at the Library and are open to the public. Agenda, Minutes and other public documents may be found in the Documents Directory.
